Hand site privacy policy (MVP)

Webcam processing happens locally in your browser. We do not upload or store raw webcam video.

When you click save, we store hand landmark JSON and the metadata needed to render, search, and practice the gesture.

Draft gestures are private to the owner. Published gestures are public and visible to anyone.

Auth cookies are required to keep you signed in and protect owner-only actions.

Optional browser storage is off until you allow it in Privacy settings. If allowed, Hand can keep a local recovery copy of an in-progress gesture, including landmark data, metadata, and review settings, and remember capture and display preferences. It does not store camera images or video. Rejecting or withdrawing optional storage clears these entries.

Hand stores your allow or reject choice so it can remember your preference. First-party sign-in and security cookies are separate from this choice. Hand does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
